Gurudwara Nanak Darbar Sahib
JLPL has also taken the initiative to build and maintain a gurudwara in sector 91, the Gurudwara Nanak Darbar. Gurudwaras are considered to be the place of a unique combination of spirituality, community, generosity, and service.
Gurudwara Nanak Darbar creates a sense of community and unity, making it a welcoming and inclusive place for all. We at JLPL Group believe that gurudwaras provide a platform for people to volunteer their time and skills for community service activities such as cooking and serving food, cleaning the premises, and helping with events. This helps people feel connected to their community and gives them a sense of purpose and fulfillment.
Chappar Rejuvenation
Chappars are an essential part of the ecosystem. The chappar in Raipur Khurd had become overgrown with algae and invasive plants with the water becoming stagnant.
JLPL Group’s initiative to rejuvenate the chappar has paid off in many ways. Not only did the rejuvenation improve the ecological health of the area, but it has also enhanced the beauty of the surrounding area and has created a more attractive setting for the residents of Raipur Khurd. The chappar also has a fountain in the center, adding value by keeping the water clean and fresh by adding oxygen to the water and helping to minimize surface vegetation.
JLPL Plant Nurseries
We have ventured into the world of greenery with our very own plant nurseries. Our unique nurseries in sectors 66, 82 and 94 offer a delightful experience for both plant and flower lovers. The nursery has a wide selection of plants and flowers offering an extensive range to suit every garden and climate. The nurseries also have a wide variety of roses. The Iceberg, Summer Snow, Lady X, Lutin, Rosa Albertine, Cleopatra Pink, Proud Land, Kiss of Fire and Don Don are some varieties of roses found at the JLPL plant nurseries. The nurseries are looked over by a team of experienced horticulturists and knowledgeable staff members.
Vermicomposting Sites
We have established our own vermicomposting facilities in sectors 82 and 93, allowing us to produce our own high-quality vermicompost. These sites have proven to be highly effective in meeting the majority of our fertilization needs.
Sewerage Treatment Plants
We have implemented Karnal technology to effectively utilize treated water in two sectors where STP plants are located – sector 91 and 94.
The treated water from the 91 STP is transported to our site in sector 93, where we have planted eucalyptus trees in accordance with the norms of Karnal technology.
Similarly, the treated water from the 94 STP is utilized in an adjoining area where we have also planted eucalyptus trees as per the guidelines of Karnal technology. This demonstrates our unwavering commitment to the environment.
Classrooms
JLPL has further demonstrated its commitment to education by building classrooms for the government high school of Mauli Baidwan, located in Mohali district. This investment in educational infrastructure signifies a holistic approach to community development, aiming to enhance not only living conditions but also educational opportunities as well.
Public Convenience
JLPL’s commitment to community welfare extends beyond housing and education; they have also made a positive impact by constructing public washrooms. This essential infrastructure contributes significantly to hygiene and sanitation in Mauli village, promoting a healthier living environment. By addressing basic needs, JLPL continues to play a crucial role in enhancing the overall well-being of the community, emphasizing a comprehensive and sustainable approach to social development.
Affordable Housing for the Underprivileged
JLPL have made significant impact in addressing the housing needs for the underprivileged by constructing homes in villages surrounding the city of Mohali. JLPL’s initiative reflects social responsibility, providing a positive contribution to the community’s well being and access to basic amenities.
A Special Mother’s Day at JLPL
On Mother’s Day, JLPL decided to do something special to honor the women who play a crucial role in building our dream projects. These women, who tirelessly work on our construction sites, are not only contributing to the creation of Falcon View but are also the pillars of their families. We at JLPL organized a special event to celebrate their invaluable contributions. beautifully packed baskets filled with treats to the women laborers. These baskets were carefully and thoughtfully curated, making sure they had a diverse selection of items that they wouldn’t usually buy for themselves and could share with their families. It was more than just a gesture of our appreciation it was a small way of acknowledging their hard work, dedication, and the sacrifices they make every day as mothers.
Tree Plantation Drive by JLPL
At JLPL, we believe in nurturing not just our projects but also our environment. In line with this commitment, we recently organised a tree plantation drive at the JLPL Industrial Park in Sector 82, Mohali, an event that brought together employees of the organisation to contribute towards a greener tomorrow.
The initiative was a reflection of our commitment to sustainable development and corporate social responsibility.

Sewing Skill Center for Women by JLPL
Janta Land Promoters Pvt Ltd (JLPL) recently marked a major achievement in a commitment to empowering women through skill development at the JLPL Sewing Skill Development Centre in Mataur, Sector 70, Mohali. This center, established in collaboration with Singer Corporation as part of the Government of India’s Skill India Mission, aims to foster self-reliance and independence among women in the Mataur community.
