At JLPL, we marked the Engineers’ Day in a fitting manner by celebrating the invaluable contributions of our engineering and architectural departments. The event was held at the elegant JLPL Falcon View Clubhouse banquet hall, which provided the perfect backdrop for a day filled with reflection, pride and recognition.
Our chief engineer, Mr SS Sandhu along with our senior architect Mrs Kiran Ahluwalia and the entire team, came together to honour the life and legacy of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya an engineering genius whose contributions have left an indelible mark on India’s development. Known for his innovative solutions in water resource management, Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya continues to inspire engineers across the country.
The celebration was not only an opportunity to appreciate the hard work and dedication of our engineers and architects but also a moment to reflect on the importance of their role in shaping our organisation and its future. Mr Sandhu and Mrs Kiran addressed the gathering, sharing insights into the history of Engineers’ Day recounting the key milestones in Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya’s career that remain relevant to this day.
The event was filled with camaraderie where our employees exchanged ideas and looked ahead toward continuing the legacy of innovation, problem solving and resilience that Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya championed. It was a day to remind ourselves of the great responsibility that lies on the shoulders of engineers and architects, as they are the true builders of progress.
Our honourable Director Technical addressed the gathering and thanked everyone for their contributions towards the organisation and its vision. As we celebrated this special day at JLPL, we also renewed our commitment to fostering an environment that encourages creativity, teamwork and excellence, ensuring that all our employees, experienced as well as new, continue to follow the JLPL vision and build a better tomorrow for all.
