Do we know which is the most popular choice among buyers in India? Well, recent surveys conducted show that the highest demand among homebuyers is now for 3 BHK apartments. 

The surveys have shown that despite the increasing property prices the demand for big and spacious 3 BHK luxury apartments is also increasing. Most of these surveys were conducted between July to December 2023 with more than thousands of online respondents from all across India.

In line with the growing popularity of bigger apartments the demand for luxury apartments priced more than 1.5 Cr has also gained more traction. However, among budgets, the price range between 45 to 90 lakhs still remains to most popular. 

These surveys have also revealed a significant shift in the real estate market, indicating that the demand for new launches has surpassed that of ready-to-move homes for the first time. This trend highlights a changing preference among homebuyers, signaling a potential shift in the industry. 

The cultural emphasis on familial bonds also plays a pivotal role in India. The concept of joint families is deeply ingrained. A 3 BHK residence caters well to this cultural norm, fostering an environment where family members can coexist harmoniously while enjoying their personal spaces. 

The popularity of newly launched 3 BHK apartments in India can be attributed to a perfect blend of affordability, adaptability to changing lifestyles, cultural considerations since they accommodate joint families and strong resale value. As the real estate landscape in India continues to evolve, the enduring appeal of the 3 BHK configuration remains a cornerstone of Indian housing preferences.
